My family's lucky enough to be spending a week in San Francisco over winter break, any Jalop activities you would recommend? I'm specifically looking at karting, maybe at Infineon Sears Point Sonoma if there's a spot open, another suggestions in the area?

Was actually considering renting a car to bomb up and down the PCH for a few hours but no one will rent anything not completely depressing to a 21-year-old kid.

The Academy of Art has a pretty nice car collection funded through outrageously high tuition and owning half the city on Van Ness. They wheel out a few for the annual Auto Show which just ended last weekend. Book a tour here: http://www.academyautomuseum.org/?page_id=26 and bring a nice camera.
The fun dealerships (Ferrari/Lamborghini) are technically in the North Bay (Mill Valley). If you don't want to leave the city, Cars Dawdiyak is just off Van Ness and always has a nice inventory - they had a GT3 RS 4.0 when I drove past last time.
K-1 Karting is an indoor chain with a few locations around NorCal. I haven't participated, but they've been around for a while and they've got a branch near the airport in South San Francisco.
You might also catch a few test mules roaming around the city. I've crossed paths with the Nissan Rogue test mule along with its Infiniti G/Q entourage.

Go see Canepa Design, in Scotts Valley. Last time I was in there they had like 5 Porsche 959s and a metric crap load of amazing, historically significant cars. And one turbine powered motorcycle. It's basically a sweet car museum where everything is for sale!

Well, now I need a new pair of pants after looking through the gallery on their website.
